Signs & Synchronicities

We all have seen, heard, or felt something that we connect with at our soul level, something that sparks our inner spirit, a deep connection that reminds us of someone, a place, a thing, a feeling, or emotion. We believe that these are messages are from the source, giving us signs and guidance. 

For example, a red cardinal is said to represent a past loved one and it can remind you of that person or it is that person’s way of saying hello and that they are always around you. Another common synchronicity that we observe is seeing 11:11 often. It makes you feel something you just cannot explain. It could be a sign from the Universe that you are on the right path and to keep moving forward. But the real meaning behind these signs is already inside of you, you just have to learn to trust your own intuition. Your higher self knows the answers!

Here are some examples of signs and synchronicities and what they mean:

Repeating numbers –

In numerology, each number pattern has its own meaning. For example, seeing 111 represents awakening to a new awareness. The angels are guiding you on your path. Trust in the invisible forces around you. You could be driving on the highway and see 111 on a license plate, and later that day look at the clock and it is exactly 1:11, then you go to the grocery store and the total of your bill adds up to exactly $111 (This has legit happened to me!) Feathers –

What do you think of when you find a feather? What comes to mind? For me and many others, it represents an angel. When I find a white feather, I feel that my angels are watching out for me and keeping me safe and protected. Lots of different coloured feathers can represent different meanings. A black feather can represent protection and safety, black and white represent positive changes, and a blue feather represents intuition. Animals, Insects & Birds – 

Many ancient civilizations believed that animals, birds, or even insects had a special purpose, power, or meaning. In Greek Mythology, Ancient Egypt, Chinese Horoscope, and many more cultures. When you see a certain animal in repetition, that animal spirit may have a message for you. For example, if you see a fox often or are having reoccurring dreams about a fox, it can represent a challenging time coming to an end, and a solution is coming. In the Celtic belief system, a Fox represents a spirit guide, they are there to guide and navigate you to your life path. People also commonly associate a Butterfly or Red Cardinal as a sign from a past loved one. 

Coins –  

Have you ever repeatedly found dimes in the most random places? You are just sitting there and all of a sudden you see a coin, pick it up, and have a sensation or feeling that it was meant for you? Many people believe that our past on loved ones drop dimes around you to let you know that their energy is around you. In the book “Signs – The Secret Language of the Universe” Author Laura Lynne Jackson explains that our loved ones who have passed on are trying to communicate with us. And all we must do is ask. She suggests that you choose a very specific sign and ask for it! For example, a dime with the year of your birth, or something that reminds you of them. Ask, believe, and the signs will come. It can be very healing during the grieving process to know that your loved ones are always around you. Dreams –

Dreams are one of the most magical and mysterious things we just cannot explain. Do you ever have a dream about something, and it has come true? I believe that when we are dreaming, we are directly connected to our intuition. Our conscious mind is sleeping and dormant and our subconscious mind allows us to do things that our awake mind just doesn’t believe is possible, for example having a dream you are flying! Our higher self may be trying to send us signs and messages in our dreams in so many ways. Have you ever had a dream your teeth are falling out? It could be a sign that maybe you are lacking in self-confidence and there is something there that needs to be healed or released so you can move forward. There are so many different signs, synchronicities, and different meanings for all of them. At the end of the day, the one with the most accurate answer to your sign is inside of you.
